Connecting to SIX

There are two ways that your site can connect to SIX:

a) Native Connection

Requirement:

  • Dual-stack router to be co-located at NUS. It will connect via Fast Ethernet to the Cisco Catalyst 6500.
  • Link from Your Site to NUS. It will be provided by your own site.
  • IPv6 address block for the Infrastructure and User.

 

 

b) Tunnel Connection

Requirement:
  • Dual-stack Router.
  • Connection to Internet.


 

IPv6 Address

  • SingAREN has been assigned with a block of IPv6 address 2001:208::/32 by APNIC.
  • We will allocate a block of /48 IPv6 address for your site.
  • You are responsible to maintain and manage the reverse lookup zone that corresponds to the delegated IPv6 address space.
