IPv6 Project - Deployment of IPv6 Infrastructure and Services


About SIX

  • Singapore IPv6 Internet eXchange (SIX) is an IPv6-based IX located in Singapore to allow the exchange of IPv6 traffic.
  • It is a layer 2 infrastructure to allow ISP, R&E (research and education) entities and industry partners to interconnect, exchange IPv6 traffic and access to IPv6 internet.
  • SIX is hosted by National University of Singapore (NUS), Computer Centre and SingAREN.
  • Interested participants can connect at SIX to participate and contribute to the development, deployment and testing of IPv6 technologies and solutions.

Participants

The current participants at SIX are :

  • NUS Computer Centre,
  • Centre for Internet Research (CiR) in NUS, and
  • Institute for Communication Research (ICR).
