- Singapore IPv6 Internet eXchange (SIX) is an IPv6-based IX located
in Singapore to allow the exchange of IPv6 traffic.
- It is a layer 2 infrastructure to allow ISP, R&E (research and
education) entities and industry partners to interconnect, exchange
IPv6 traffic and access to IPv6 internet.
- SIX is hosted by National University of Singapore (NUS), Computer
Centre and SingAREN.
- Interested participants can connect at SIX to participate and contribute
to the development, deployment and testing of IPv6 technologies and
solutions.
The current participants at SIX are :
- NUS Computer Centre,
- Centre for Internet Research (CiR) in NUS, and
- Institute for Communication Research (ICR).
