Abstract:

Introduction
GLOBALBASE is an architecture of distributed servers and clients that provides the most suitable map data using autonomous protocol, and it is projected that world objects and area maps be share-utilized by seamless processes of map registration and processing.

To develop a world wide extension of GLOBALBASE, regional server and portal establishment projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore are proposed. The GLOBALBASE Japan and regional projects hosting GLOBALBASE shall implement a collaborated program on establishment of regional server network and its operation under self effort base (not based upon a special grant/funding).

This seminar will introduce the basic architecture of GLOBALBASE and its operation.
