Cybersecurity Workshop on Safeguarding Your Networks Against Modern DDoS Attacks with Award-Winning Technology – 30 June 2022
To help our SingAREN members learn more about the best practices in safeguarding networks against modern DDoS attacks, we organised this Cybersecurity workshop where our partner, Radware, shared mitigation of advance and modern DDoS attacks and introduced their award-winning Anti-DDoS technology.
Sharing mitigation strategy for advanced DDoS attacks, Radware covered examples for the education sector. Radware’s DefensePro Anti DDoS protection solution enables customers with large-scale networks to detect and mitigate hidden phantom flood attacks and other traffic anomalies by leveraging a dynamic quantile DoS algorithm. This sophisticated behavioural protection adjusts to the dynamic network, thereby eliminating the need for constant monitoring and tuning, allowing full visibility into phantom flood attacks and traffic anomalies.
Many attendees found the topics discussed informative and useful, with sufficient depth and breadth, and expressed their positive feedback about this workshop.
“The workshop is informative and relevant.”, said Chew Weng Leong, Singapore University of Social Sciences.
“I learned more on the new DDos attacks and the mitigation methods.”, said Yeo Chang Lim, A*STAR Computational Resource Centre.
30 attendees participated in this well-received workshop, which was held at Virgo Ballroom at Park Avenue Rochester. This was our first in-person workshop this year and we would like to extend our thanks to Radware and Terrabit for sponsoring this workshop.
