SingAREN 2024 Chinese New Year Celebration
21 Feb 2024 – This year, SingAREN ushers in the Year of The Dragon earlier on 8 Feb 2024 with a reunion lunch at the Black Society restaurant at VivoCity. Reunion dinner signifies the reaffirmation of one’s family connection to their roots, celebrating and strengthening the ties that bind families together; in the same way, SingAREN staff and our Executive Committee members came together to feast and strengthen our bonds over a delicious lunch spread on this day.

An 8-course CNY lunch kicked off with a lively messy but fun Yusheng tossing among the attendees. The festive treat was followed by seafood gourmet including savoury fried prawns, succulent abalones and a generous serving of steamed Cod fish. The attendees then continued to enjoy the crispy roast chicken that complement a hearty braised Ee Fu noodle. Yummy NianGao kuehs was paired with chilled honey sago cream that ended the luncheon on a sweet note.
