The Research & EDU Community Connect @ Check Point, 14 Sep 2023
SingAREN, in partnership with Check Point Software Technologies Ltd, hosted a networking event for SingAREN members on 14 Sep 2023. The event “The Research & EDU Community Connect @ Check Point” was held at the Cafe Football Singapore.
Check Point shared on its Prevention First approaches for management of cyberattacks, based on intelligence, prevention and consolidation.
A/Prof Francis Lee, President, SingAREN shared on SingAREN’s journey with Check Point for its various projects. This includes enabling cybersecurity visibility for SingAREN Open Exchange, supporting Science DMZ projects and threat intelligence sharing.
It was an enjoyable evening for the Research and Education community to network and exchange views over dinner and drinks.
SingAREN would like to express its appreciation to Check Point for its sharing of cybersecurity insights and organising the networking event. We thank all participants, who made the event a success.
